The Carnival in Rio de Janeiro is a festival held before Lent every year and is considered to be the biggest carnival in the world.

Approximately two million people per day fill the streets of Rio. The typical Rio carnival parade is filled with floats, revellers and adornments from numerous samba schools which are located in Rio and surrounding areas.

Dressed in beautiful costumes these amazing dancers parade through the Sambadrome; with official parties are held at Copacabana.

The streets are vibrant and alive with the mini festivals held by locals where music and dancing is the only thing necessary.
