White Nights isn’t just one festival, it's a collection of events around the longest days of the year, from mid-­May to mid-­July in St Petersburg, Russia. This festival is an spectacular display across all of the arts, including music, opera, ballet, film and outdoor celebrations including the Scarlet Sails, a fleet of tall ships adorned with red­-sails under a massive fireworks show. Lit by the sky show, you can walk along the River Neva and revel with the gypsy bands, jugglers, sword swallowers, fire eaters and stoic Russian mimes.
