Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival - Manchester, Tennessee, USA

WHAT: Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival
WHERE: Great Stage Park, Manchester, Tennessee, USA

For four unforgettable days every June, a farm in rural Tennessee becomes one of America's most celebrated music destinations. Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival is more than a concert, it's a community built around music, creativity, camping, and connection, where sunrise performances, late-night sets, and spontaneous moments have become part of festival folklore.

From Jam Bands to Global Headliners

When Bonnaroo launched in 2002, it quickly became known for its roots in jam bands, folk rock, and improvisational performances. Over the years, the festival has evolved into one of the most diverse music events in North America, embracing rock, indie, hip hop, electronic, pop, country, folk, soul, funk, jazz, Americana, and world music while never losing the relaxed, free-spirited atmosphere that made it famous.

Its cultural impact was recognised by Rolling Stone, which named Bonnaroo among the "50 Moments That Changed Rock & Roll."

Music Around the Clock

One of Bonnaroo's defining features is that the music rarely stops. Performances continue well into the early hours of the morning, with surprise collaborations, legendary late-night sets, and the much-loved SuperJam, where musicians from different genres come together for one-off performances that can't be seen anywhere else.

Previous editions have featured artists including Paul McCartney, Radiohead, Pearl Jam, Elton John, Bruce Springsteen, Beyoncé, Eminem, The Killers, Muse, Bon Iver, Dua Lipa, Kendrick Lamar, Billy Joel, Stevie Wonder, Metallica, Tash Sultana, Billie Eilish, and hundreds more.

More Than a Festival

Bonnaroo has always been about more than the line-up. Art installations, comedy, wellness programmes, sustainability initiatives, craft markets, yoga, cinema, and community spaces transform Great Stage Park into a temporary city where music and creativity are only part of the experience.

It's a place where strangers become neighbours and four days can feel like an entire lifetime.

Whether you're dancing beneath the Tennessee stars, discovering your next favourite artist at sunrise, or experiencing the magic of a late-night SuperJam, Bonnaroo delivers one of America's most unforgettable festival experiences. Each place tells a story. In Tennessee, Bonnaroo speaks through music, community, and four days of Music and Arts where time seems to disappear.
