OH! LAKE TAHOE
There is no escape, like getting lost in Mother Nature and she is at her absolute most pristine at the divine Lake Tahoe, Nevada. Jaye escaped the city grind flying LAX to Reno to explore the natural wonder.
For those of you not familiar with the magnificent body of water, Lake Tahoe is a large freshwater lake in the Sierra Nevada of the United States. It is the largest alpine lake in North America and its depth is 1,645 ft/501 m making it the second deepest in the United States after Crater Lake. The lake was formed about 2 million years ago - yikes - and is a part of the Lake Tahoe Basin with the modern lake being shaped during the ice ages (I can't believe it!) I have to say, the lake itself is not only stunning, it is the most amazing drinking water I have ever had. Sweet H2O drips from every faucet and we couldn't get enough. After 5 days in Tahoe, on the lake and drinking the divine H2O - as sweet as nectar, left the entire crew glowing!
